CeraVe Healing Ointment forms a physical barrier on the skin’s surface that can help protect injured or exposed skin from external irritants and enhance the skin’s natural barrier function for up to eight hours. Formulated with petrolatum, hyaluronic acid, and ceramides, it helps restore the skin’s protective barrier and lock in moisture. Excellent for dry skin, but quite thick

I have been using this CeraVe Healing Ointment for about two weeks now, especially for my cracked heels and dry elbows. The moisture is truly long-lasting and it definitely helps with chapped skin during the dry season. I appreciate that it is lanolin-free and non-greasy compared to other ointments I have tried. It works well as a barrier cream to lock in hydration. The only thing to note is that the texture is very thick, so a little bit goes a long way; it takes some time to rub it in properly. If you are looking for an effective moisturizer for extremely dry skin or a good foot balm, this is a solid choice. Very happy with the purchase from Ladily.
