Note: In its pure form, vitamin C is unstable in water. Ascorbyl Glucoside is a water-soluble derivative of vitamin C. It is much more stable in water but it is less potent than direct L-Ascorbic Acid.

Effective brightening serum for daily use

I have been using this Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% from The Ordinary for about a month now. My main concern was dull skin and some uneven spots. This is a very lightweight, water-based serum that absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling sticky, which is perfect for our humid weather in Dhaka. It does not irritate my skin at all, which is a big plus compared to stronger Vitamin C products I have tried before. I have definitely noticed a more radiant complexion and it helps with minor dark spots. One small thing to keep in mind: because it is a derivative, the results are gradual, so do not expect overnight magic like some other serums. Overall, it is a great, affordable antioxidant support for anyone starting their skincare journey. Highly recommend it for those dealing with dullness.
