Reliable mineral sunscreen for kids, leaves a slight white cast
I have been using this Blue Lizard Kids SPF 50 for my son during our weekend outings at the park. Being a mineral sunscreen, it feels much safer on his sensitive skin compared to the chemical ones we used before. The protection is solid; he hasn't gotten any sunburn even after being in the sun for an hour or so. The 80-minute water resistance is also very handy for when he plays with water. My only practical observation is that, like many zinc-based mineral sunscreens, it leaves a bit of a white cast on the skin that takes a little effort to rub in properly. Otherwise, it is a great, effective product for daily sun protection in our climate. Definitely recommend for parents looking for good mineral-based UV defense.
